  • Okay. Here's a little reality check. The lower the BMI, the slower you will lose. Those of you with 40 or below BMI as a rule will not lose as much weight the first month as those of you with 40 or

  • OK! I just have to say it! I am jealous. I know all the right things, we all lose at our own rate, it is not a race, you cant't eat 600 calories a day and not lose, etc. Yada, yada, yada! I went from

32 lbs down since April 29th. 25 the first month!

i was 296 in June 3rd day after my sleeve, today im 272.6 so 23'ish lbs in 12 days

Hi Maryluu - Mine was June 10. Amazing seeing all this first month loses -- can't wait! Hope your sipping is going better today.

Start 256. 20 before surgery. 24 after the 1st month.

Marylou... miralax or other liquid over the counter medication is ok. Even suppositories if it's been a while. Just caution to use them sparingly. You want your body to do the work as much as possoble. It was 3 weeks before I could stop using some sort of constipation aide. Now Im regular. Totally normal because pain mess and diet change and high protein.

Any one on here with similar dates to mine I was sleeved on 6/12

I was sleeved 6/8, thus far 15lbs in just over a week.

I am now 1 week post surgery and I am down 3.8 lbs (plus down 32 prior to surgery.) I think I'm still retaining Water so hoping for a bigger loss next week,. Regardless, I am loving fitting into smaller sizes. My pace is slow but this is still awesome!

What did you all start out at ? Dr told me the more that you weigh the more you lose at first . The less you weigh you will lose less amounts at once .

This is what my doctor told me as well. Everyone is different. The doctors look more at what percentage of your excess weight have you lost.

Hi @@maryluu mine was done June 11 hope your sipping is much better now. I had same problem during first fee days. Now it's getting better and not as hard.

@@maryluu I am at puree stage I'm doing mostly soups ,scrambled eggs, yougurt, sugar free chocolate pudding just to get the craving away, skim milk and water. I'm still trying to get use the portion. I feel full but two hours go by my stomachs starts to growling something new to me lol. I drink water and it stops. Yesterday for the first time I tried a slice of cheese with a slice of turkey and it went down well. So that will be my new snack. :-)

30lbs, but most was result of 2 week pre-op liquid diet.

Just had my two week check up. 22.5lb since June 8th. Total with pre op is 46.5lb. I thought that was low, but Dr was very happy. I'm just glad the staples are out!
