hi guys, i know that this thread has been posted plenty of times. i haven't found your answers.

I wanted to know if i should call my nurse and ask if i can eat some soft food. i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hungry:hungry: and yes this is hungry pain.

she did mention that I need to stay on liquid diet for a little while, my first update since surgery is friday.

i don't want to do anything that will cause trouble to the stitches

Honestly it is mind over matter. You just have to take it one day at a time. I was banded a little over 2 weeks ago and stuck to the diet. You can get through it. Stay on top of your protein drinks it will help alot.

It wouldn't hurt to call the Nurse. I was having hunger a few days before my post op and I called and they let me have scrambled egg whites. If you can picture chewing an egg white?? But it stayed in my stomach a bit longer and helped with the hunger pangs. I would call if I were you. That is what they are there for and you wont know unless you ask. Good Luck!:clap2:
