Anyone going in tomorrow?

Hi all! I've been lurking for awhile, but this is my first post. Tomorrow is my surgery date. I have to be there at 545 am and my surgery is at 7:30. Anyone else going tomorrow? Would love to have a buddy, I'm terrified!

I'm not having surgery tomorrow, but I just wanted to say "welcome" and good luck! I'll be about 6 weeks behind you in the whole process, if my insurance approves me on the first go.

Yes! My surgery is tomorrow and I will admit that I am a nervous wreck. lol. Part of me just wants to run to the car and drive as far away as I can get at this moment. What about you?

Why are you so afraid?

I'm right there with you. It's not just the physical part of the surgery, but the emotional. I almost feel like I'm giving up a friend (food). I also have two small kids to come home to. My way of thinking has changed since I had them, I'm afraid to leave them. They need their mom! Good luck to you! Keep me up to date on your progress!

You may want to pick up or download The Emotional Toolkit. My psych recommended it to me and it helps get your emotions in check.
