Stress

My mom passed almost 2 weeks ago. I'm drinking enough but my appetite is horrible. I had a boiled egg yesterday. Those of you that have suffered the death of a loved when will I get my appetite back? Back on the treadmill tomorrow. Maybe that'll help?

It surely is different for everyone. When we lost our son I was just detached from life in general for about 3 months (and gained my final 30lbs). It took a full 6 months to shake the worst of the depression. I never had the lack of appetite, but it was before the Sleeve for me. I guess now I would just not care to eat too...

At the least have a Protein Drink or 2 daily so you are getting in some nutrients and protein.

I can't tell you when your appetite will return. Like liannatx said, everyone has there own timing. So make sure you get the essentials, and your fluids, for sure. Don't overdo with the exercise, especially if you aren't getting in the Protein and fluids. But you know that.

Nothing can rush the grieving period, you'll know the answer to that when it comes. Ask for peace, and you will have it. With that peace comes all you will need for the moment. Our prayers are with you, and you are NOT alone.....

I'm so very sorry you lost a child. How very heartbreaking.
