2 weeks to go til surgery!

I am a newbie and my surgery date is May 8. I am excited and nervous! I am on my 3rd day of the pre-op liquid diet. I bought smoothie mixes in my nutrition classes and I don't think they are very good but I force myself to drink them. Ugh... It will be a long 2 weeks, but I'm sure it will get easier.

My husband is being so supportive, bless his heart. He went shopping yesterday and bought himself stuff that he likes that he knows I don't. He said it's not fair for him to eat in front of me. I keep trying to tell him that this was my decision and I am fine with him eating stuff, it will not bother me!

I am such a picky eater, I am nervous about post-op. I know I will be able to do it. I guess the nerves are normal.

Any advice would be great! Looks like there are many success stories on here, that is very encouraging!!!!
