This escalated quickly. I went to see my surgeon today to get the final go ahead and then set a surgery date. When I sat with the admin person, she asked me if I wanted April 15th. After I picked up my chin off the floor, I said yes. So in one week I'll be having surgery. They sent me down stairs to do pre-admission bloodwork, x-ray, and ekg. So, I'm set for next week. I'm shocked! I wanted to get this done sooner than later, but I didn't expect to schedule this for April 15th. I'm glad to get on with my life. Doing a happy dance.

Wow, congrats!! You must be in shock but I'm thrilled for you it is happening so fast! I am also schedued for April 15th, although for me it has been a long year to get here. Hope the pre-op is going well for you thus far, cannot believe a week from tomorrow is our big day.
