I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED HERE AND THERE BUT I HAVE MORNING NAUSEA EVERY SINGLE MORNING. I JUST FEEL SICK ALL OVER. I WAKE UP ANYWHERE FROM 3-5 AM. I CAN JUST BARELY COPE AND GET READY FOR WORK ETC. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS? THANKS A BUNCH!

Yup. Every morning. My dietician said it is because the stomach has contracted, and is not happy with the splash of cold water I throw at it each morning! Go Figure!!!!! (I can't understand why not!!! Don't we LIKE getting cold water thrown on us?!) So, she suggested sipping warm water, instead, for a couple of sips, to kinda "prime" the stomach. Same goes for the first food of the day, "prime" it with a couple bites of soft food before throwing the hard/crunchy/tough stuff at it. This has worked greatly for me. Good luck to you!

That sounds like great advice! I am going to try that!

As mentioned it could be dehydration. Try to make sure you're well hydrated at bed time. Excess acid can also cause nausea. Are you on a PPI?

Yes I'm getting my water in. Last night I drank two glasses before bedtime to see if it helped but it didn't. I am taking acid reducers every morning.

@@downsizingdiva My doctor has me taking an additional dose of Omeraprazole in the late afternoon. That has helped me as of late. Maybe talk to your doctor about increasing your dosage?

I occasionally get the nausea in the morning, I'll take a Tums and it's always helped me
