I am in the process of tring to have the Lap band procedure. My insurance want me to do 3mons Dr. regulated dieting. My Surgeon will be Dr. oliak. I will see his dietian to start the 3 mon diet. Did anyone else have to do this? If so, what was it like? Has anyone used Dr. Oliak?

    I walked in with years of history too but my doc wanted it so that you "shrink your liver". Every program is different, unfortunately. There really isn't one uniform requirement.
