How are you feeling this morning? I was discharged from the hospital yesterday. Sleeping was a bit rough last night because I'm a belly sleeper. My pain is almost gone. Onto drinking my half oz cups to meet goal today

Hoping to go home today.

Yes...headed home within the hour. How are you doing?

I'm doing good! Ive been off the pain meds since yesterday at 3. Drinking has been going good. My hips are a little sore when walking today but I think it was from sleeping funny the past couple nights. I'm hoping to take a short walk outside later this afternoon.

That's awesome. It's raining here so no outside walking but I put in a out a mile and a half at the hospital. Still taking pain meds. Drinking is good. I drank beef broth today and it was yummy.

  • 2 weeks later...

I just started my 2 weeks liquid diet and my surgery is April 23rd. Question? My friend had bypass done in February and she told me that was ate hard boiled egg whites (no yolk) throughout the 2 week liquid diet. She said her surgery was fine and the doctor said everything looked good. Has anyone else tried egg whites or other alternatives?
