March 18th the big day - anyone else?

Just sitting here waiting for the hospital to call with my time to report tomorrow. Nerves aren't too bad. It's time to get this party started.

Wishing all of you having or who have had surgery this month a speedy recovery.

See you all on the other side.

It's daunting isn't it, Michelle? I do OK on the liquids, it's all the vitamins to chew I'm vhaving an issue with. But tomorrow, I start puréed foods, and I'm so excited!!

Hey, Cristy, congratulations on your sleeve! Hop all is going well for you.

Para-thighs - my dr told me about this great liquid vitamin, I take 1 ounce of it each morning with no issues at all. I'm starting on a 5 ounce container of Greek yogurt now, let's see how long this takes lol

Michelle what is the name of the vitamins you are using. i"m on day 4 post op. Having no issue with clear liquids but i only get about 30 or 40 grams of protein

  • 3 weeks later...

I was also sleeved on March 18! Everything went very well, no complications. Noticing as I come up on 3 week post-op date I am eating some Egg Beaters and non-fat cottage cheese. It is going down fine, but because it is denser I can only eat 2-3 oz. at a time. Be sure to introduce new foods slowly, one at a time!
