Have you tried premier protein? You can get it at SAMs or Costco. Chocolate is the best flavor in my opinion.

I did not get that recommendation until 2 weeks after my surgery. I wish I would have had them during the pre op diet, it might not have been so hard.

hmmm same exact schedule here started same day and surgery is 23rd! So anyway, I tend to use a vanilla from powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury or Isopure then started mixing in sugar free torani syrup to make different flavors. Also both brands make a unflavored and you can add it to anything or mix with anything. Today goal is to try chocolate mint with ice cubes and skim milk in the ninja, grasshopper time!! Good luck, there is also high recommended nectar brand powder mix also. And as she said I am keeping the premier Protein shakes in the fridge for short stop when I don't have time to mix up the ninja or need to go somewhere. Good luck and experiment, and remember many offer sample packs u are going to need them long term

Protein drinks are nasty. I only drank the necessary amount during pre-diet and the few weeks after surgery. I have not touched them since. Fortunately my doctor does not want me to use them at all now. My NUT tells me I should be eating my protein not drinking it. Of course early on you can't but that's such a short period of your life even though it feels like an eternity when you are in the middle of it. Premier Choc and Vanilla were my faves. But the Genepro unflavored was great because I would add it to homemade chicken and beef stock and it was delicious. It saved me because I could eat it with a spoon and felt like food but took care of my fluid requirements at the same time.

I have been struggling extremely bad with this whole 10 day liquid diet, and suggestions on how not to feel like I am starving? Also how important is it to really follow this? And how many of y'all have failed the liquid diet?
