  3. Well at 25 min I ate a quarter of the omelet, but my struggle is eating cold food, but thanks for everyone's input it was very helpful
  4. So is it a rule that every meal has to take you 30 min to eat anything no matter what it is? How long does it take y'all to eat a two egg omelet?
  5. 10 day liquid diet sux I liked to die but I made it try tomato soup also, and be prepared for surgery it hurts like hell don't let anyone tell you any different

  9. I can't even get in my protein now I get full way to soon, I am only week two of post op so I can't have any real meat and basically my only real good source of protein is my shake and my nutritionist said I need 60 to 70g and that would be 3 shakes per day and no way I can do that!
  10. Ok so when I went through the classes to have the surgery, I was told I would never be hungry for around 6 months and that I would need to set timers to remind me to eat! So that's not the case I'm on week two of the post op diet so maybe that will change since I'm actually getting something other then liquid, but still dozen make since why I feel hungry when I was told I wouldn't be!! Anyone else with this similarity?
  11. I had the RNY 8/24/15 I have been craving a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit! Crazy thing is I very rarely ever ate those!

  13. @@purz59 only issues that I have found is I feel extremely balloted, the pain after the first day wasn't so bad, and also I have found it very hard to meet my protein of 60g to 70g a day right now I get full way to fast for all that!

  16. Ok the problem I am having, is every time I drink or eat something I fill full of air, what am I doing wrong I have tried smaller sips smaller portions etc.
  17. Hata is actually who I requested, but unfortunately he was booked and was unable to get it done for me! But Dr Cox was actually very good
  18. Oh ok good deal, I had the bypass on Monday,Dr. Cox did mine! I am still extremely sore and gasie
  19. Definitely not, but I have done research on my own and the sleeve is nowhere as effective as the bypass, I will put it like this, why try the sleeve only to possible have to go back and redo the surgery? GI with the real deal from the get go! I did and I am extremely happy!!

  21. Oh boy I had the surgery monday yesterday 8/24/15 and am I ever in pain!! Still in the hospital, please everyone say a little prayer for me, as I will for you!
  22. The gas pain in my shoulders is worse than anything I have ever experienced, anyone else have this issue?
