Good luck to you! And, welcome to the site. While complications are rare they can happen. I was nervous but honestly I wasn't afraid at all. I was seriously just too excited about the "after" more so than the before. I was just so ready to start fresh!

I understand however that things are different when you have a family but seriously, I think you'll be just fine! The pain for me was like a rough day of ab work at the gym, in fact I was up walking constantly right after. They give you pain meds and meds if you feel nauseous from the anesthesia.

I didn't vomit at all during the pureed stage but once I started eating solids I totally had to learn my limit (Sometimes the hard way, i.e. trips to the bathroom) Its a learning process and journey!

Good luck to you and I hope everything goes smoothly!

Thanks for replying! I am very worried and nervous! Some people say it's a blessing and amazing others say it was the worst thing they did! I am worrying it will end up being the worst thing
