I just started my journey and meet my surgeon next Tuesday (3/10) I know that I'm going to have a 6 month supervised diet for my insurance. My BMI is 43 and I'm so scared that if I lose too much weight or gain during those 6 months that insurance will not cover surgery! Has this happened to anyone or am I just freaking out for no reason? I just don't want anything to happen to prevent me from getting surgery!

Those 6 months go quicker than I thought it would. It was actually nice because I was able to research foods and activities for after surgery. I feel ready now.

Hey did you find out yet if they'll count your time at weight watchers?

@@KS123 no they won't accept it he said that if I went to my pcp consecutively then that might count so I'm going to try to go to them this weekend and get my records from them to see. Did they accept it for you?

I still do not know but my primary doctor is working with me and documenting his support during those 4 months. And I meet with his nutritionist this Friday to start my other 2 months. Praying it works out.
