Hot Flashes

Anyone in sixties getting hot flashes? What is going on? Any suggestions on what could help slow them down or stop them?

    Had my surgery on June 21st 2016. Over a month ago and the 50 times a day flushing after tea, coffee and all night long are GONE.... Have no idea why. I drink my tea and coffee still in the AM and not one. This was worth the surgery alone for the flashings. LOL. I live in cotton, air conditioning, fans, and now it's totally not a problem. I even took HRT at 63 to try and get a nights sleep. Now at 64 and feeling great.
