We will make it ???? I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's very scary for me too but I'm looking forward to the "new" healthy me.

I'm having a revision done from a lap band slip to the sleeve. I hope this will go smoother . Since I,ve

had the lap band before. But this is soo much more serious. I feel I won,t take care of myself as close as I should. Any suggestions?

I can't seem to get on the right diet to lose weight ahead of time. Before I meet with my Dr. I am trying to get a head start, but I keep slipping.

I had the band also. I had it removed last July. It had slipped when i was going through infertility hormones treatment. They pulled out all fluid but it still slipped. I am starting a 1200 cal diet for pre surgery tomorrow.

Me too - set for March 16. Still have to elegy my pre surgery stuff done, including bloodwork, EKG, upper GI and chest X-ray.

Hi there! I live in Iowa City and my surgery is scheduled for two weeks from today on March 9! I am very excited! Where are you having yours? I am having mine at Mercy here in IC

I hope when I meet with my Dr. He'll tell me my surgery will be easier and less recovery time, since I had the lap band before. Any one gone thru this conversion yet? Thank u

My doctor says the recovery is a little longer than the band. I had my band removed and scar tissue removed last July. My doctor likes to wait atleast 3 months after the band is removed to do the conversion. I was planning on last December to have the sleeve but we had to change insurance at work through process and now having it in March.
