Not sure what your preop diet entails, but unsweetened cocoa/sweetener in milk if that's what you like. Or I think they may sell sugar free choc syrup??

I have tried the sugar free and it is just nasty!! That should keep me from drinking it though. I just wondered if anyone has any sugar free suggestions that taste good?

I use "no sugar added" cocoa by Nestle Nesquick (powder form). A hot cup of cocoa taste good in the winter and it also helps to meet the Fluid and Protein requirements.

I was wondering about choc protein shake...I'm not a chocoholic but I hear the Premier Protein shakes from SAMs club are good...

I add unsweetened cocoa, or sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix to my shakes. I used the powdered shake mixes with a blender, and add ice. I have both chocolate and vanilla Protein powder. I do not like the premade protein shakes, but I know many people prefer them. I actually crave my shakes now that i am a few days into the pre-op diet! Also the chocolate chewable calciums help when I just HAVE to chew something. I can have up to four a day. Good luck!
