Preop liquid diet

Hi there! My Dr. put me on liquid diet for next two weeks in hopes I'll lose the last bit of weight needed before surgery. My only question is how much should I expect to lose? I know everyone is different but any insight would be helpful!

I completed my first day today. As of the last reading two days ago I have between 8-10 lbs to lose yet. I also have hypothyroidism so its been a struggle to keep everything balanced. How has the liquid diet been? I heard it gets hard around day 4 or so? Today was pretty easy. Didn't even think about food, but I also drank a lot of water.

Day three I was miserable. I had a really bad headache and was nauseous all day. Then it got better and you have good days and bad days. It's all worth it in the end :-)
