My surgeon told me that I can take my medicine (the pills are smaller in size) with small sips of water on the day after my surgery.

I'm only 3 days out & I started taking mine yesterday. BTW, I take 13 pills a day! Just take it slow and wait a while between pills! Good luck to you!

I was allowed to continue taking my birth control pill right through surgery (it's tiny). I was also prescribed an anti-nausea pill that I took daily immediately after surgery. I was allowed to start taking my supplements (all were pills/capsules/gel caps) 7 days post-op.

Geez, that's scary! Hope you're doing better!
