Post op diet

So after reading a different post and looking at some fb pages, I have a question. My post op diet

week one....liquid only

week two....protein shakes, greek yogurt, cottage cheese

week three..same as above

week four....pureed

week five or six depending...normal consistency....protein only

week six and beyond can begin adding veggies/fruits

I have read of people on week 2 eating mashed potatoes....those are on my no no list. What kind of diet does your surgeon have you following?

After discharge my surgeon has me on puree foods for 30 days. I'm assuming after that I will transition to real "solid" food or "soft" foods.
