Introducing myself

Hi! I am on day two of the pre op diet and things are so-so. The big day is Feb 5th! The first day was fine but today has been a bit of a killer. I am currently on a really strong NSAID medication (nabumetone) for joint pain and it, combined with the lack of food is really not good on my stomach, but I will survive! Just wanted to say hello and that I am excited to be here.

Welcome aboard!! My surgery is 2/12 (insurance willing)! I had 4 weeks of preop diet so I am 2 weeks in. First few days was massive headaches for me but they have leveled out now. Good luck and I wish you success!! We are soooo close!

Good luck to both of you!! Pre-op is hard (mentally) and post-op is relatively smooth (minus the gas pain.) I wish you both well on your journey & look forward to seeing updates! Relax & get excited! Your life is about to change! :)
