VGS to Roux En Y thoughts

Hello all. I am 28 months post op. At my lowest, I was down 83 pounds. Now my weight has gone back up (50#). I know I have stretched out my sleeve and have continued reflex issues.

I am scheduled to have the RNY in a month to help correct my reflex. I am really worried that o will stretch out my pouch. I want to get off more meds and loose the weight again but I am just worried that I will fall into that same pattern.

I guess the first thing I would do if it were me is try to get to WHY. Why do you think you overstretched your pouch? Why do you think you are gaining? Is it the reflux? I know in my head if I feel queasy, tired, have a headache, or other physical things going on, I want my tried and true food friends. I am doing ok finding substitutes so far, but haven't hit a real crisis to test my resolve. So start there. If you are logging, try to figure it out there. If it's a head problem, find someone who works with food issues and work there. I wish you luck.
