left shoulder pain

I had LB surgery in 2009 and did well at first. I have always had pain in my left shoulder, not the gas pain from when you first have surgery but debilitating pain. I felt as though I couldn't move or take a breathe the pain was so intense. I had my band unfilled a about a year ago and gained all the weight back. I did go for a fill a couple months ago and the pain was so bad I had to go in and have the fluid taken out once again. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this but am seriously considering having it taken out. Has anyone else had this problem?
