Kinda excited?

I met with my doctor today and everything went well. I have my UGI test on the 19th, and I have my psych & nutritional evals scheduled for the 23rd. I'll find out sometime this week if I have to do a six month supervised diet; ( I'm hoping that I don't have to, but they're going to double check. Also, my doctor told me if I have a to go back steroids(ms) anytime from now and the surgery date, that he may recommend the band instead of the sleeve. It was kinda confusing, but from what I understood, is that the steroids could interfere with the healing process. I haven't had a flare up for months, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck!....here's to ALL going well for u!

It does not really matter which surgery you get if used well can have the same effect. There are a lot of Banders on here that are totally successful.

I know how you feel though. You expect one thing and get another. That happened to me too. work with it and all will be good. Keep close to your team and follow instruction totally and success will be yours.

Let us know how you are doing okay! :)
