I AM SO UPSET. I GOT A CALL THIS MORNING THAT MY SURGEON IS ILL AND HAS TO CANCEL HIS SURGERY SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW! I CERTAINLY HOPE HE IS OK. BUT WHAT A LET DOWN! I AM WAITING TO HEAR WHEN I WILL BE RESCHEDULED. THE SCHEDULING COORDINATOR IS THINKING SOMETIME NEXT WEEK BUT HAS TO FIND OUT FROM THE DR. THANKFULLY HE REQUIRES NO PRE-OP DIET. I AM SOOOO DISSAPOINTED.:faint:

Well that really sux!! I hate that for you, what a letdown. But like you said no liquid diet so thats one good point. That was definately the hardest thing to go through for me. Not that banding is easy, it is not, but to go from eating alot to nothing for 2 weeks was sure a really hard thing to do. Good luck with your surgery !!

I thought things like that only happend to me. Keep in mind your time is soon and this too shall pass. good luck.

:faint: thanks guys. I hope to get my rescheduled date tomorrow. Then I can focus on that. I was so mentally ready and to have this set back is very depressing. I am trying to be rational about it. It is very difficult to deal with it. I hope I will feel better tomorrow.

Hi all. After my terribly dissapointing day yesterday, I found out that my surgery will be on Tues May 29! Not too long to wait at all.:(

I am so happy for you. It is true good things happen to those who wait.
