5K ?

So my surgery will be in April or May ( God Willing) I am a Girl Scout troop leader and my girls want to do the Shine Run 5K in September. I will be like 4/5 months post op, do you think that will be feasible?

Very feasible. Start couch to 5K when your doctor releases you for exercise. I started one month after surgery. It takes you to running 30 min in 8 weeks. It took me about 10 weeks because I had to repeat days. You may need to train for longer to run the whole thing, but there are usually a lot of people running intervals.
