Travel question

Hi Fellow VSG'ers!

I am set for a band to VSG revision on 1/29/15. I have a vacation planned to an all inclusive resort in the Dominican planned for the beginning of May. This may seem silly...but am I going to be okay to travel by then (barring any complications)? Has anyone traveled a few months after the surgery? How do you manage food? I look forward to hearing from everyone!!

I am 3 months post op. We went away to Puerto Rico for the holidays. We were not at a all inclusive which would give you more options but for me everyone in my family ordered something and I would just take a small bit from the proteins that I wanted. I had a few carbs that I wouldn't normally have but I have stayed on track and did lots of exercise. The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own protein shakes. Otherwise enjoy your trip.
