Is the process long? I go to see Dr. Foreman, speak with the nutritionist and and the insurance coordinator next month. My insurance pays for the procedure so that's not an issue.

My ins paid but it still took about 4 months. I had to see the nut. And my pcp for 3 months. Also had to have other tests before i got my approval from the ins.

I hope the psych visit is not mandatory. I'm not interested in sitting on a couch talking to a stranger.

The psych visit went great! My paperwork was submitted 2/20. Praying for an acceptance letter and a surgery date by 3/15.

Oh - got a verbal approval last Thursday - now waiting on he next steps. This stupid snow is slowing everything down.

I'm down 30 lbs. since surgery. I never had to go on a preop diet, so all of my weight loss has been post op.

Yes, the snow has been a serious pain! Glad it's finally getting to be Spring now. Hopefully your process will go much faster than mine.

I feel SO MUCH better! I think it's been so long since I have lost weight that I had forgotten how good it feels to be a smaller size. How is it going on all of your approvals?

I am on my way to pre-op as I type! Surgery is next week!!

Yay! Very happy for you! For me, surgery was the easy part. It was the week after that can be a bit tough at times.
