500 plus

Are there any people here with a pre-op weight of 500+?? I was never one to mention weight in numbers but i guess what the heck? Everybody here has been in the same shoes so to speak. I haven't seen anyone with a high bmi so was just wondering. No one not even my mom knows my actual current weight. I figure they will freak out by hearing the actual number. ????lol well thats why i'm going through wls, to be a healthier better me. ????

I am. I am pre-op and planning to get the sleeve.

Thats good to hear! I was feeling like an odd one out of sorts. So how has your pre-op process going?

I'm glad you're here! :-)

I think I have completed most everything and waiting on a surgery date.

After the surgery when I was walking the floors they had several before and after pictures on the walls. I asked the nurse what the heaviest person that their hospital ever performed weight loss surgery on. She said 600 pounds.

Count me as a member of the 500+ Club. ;)

I'm still pretty early in the process, but I already know who will be my surgeon and what procedure I'm going to have (sleeve).

I'm somewhat nervous, but very optimistic as well.
