Staples

I just got banded on Thurs. My torso is really sore when I go from sitting to laying down. I feel like I am going to bust a staple. Has anyone had problems with their staples? This is my first surgery ever and that thought that I have staples in me is the worst part because I am so squimish. How long did it take for the doctor to remove your staples and do it hurt to get them out?

I havent been banded yet but did have staples with my 2 c-sections. Once they were in I wanted them to stay there because the thought of them coming out was scarier than them being there. The good news is they dont hurt at all coming out. Its been a long time ago since I had them but I remember laying there holding by breath waiting for the nurse to take them out and she had actually already taken some out without me even noticing. Why did you have staples? I thought they would just use that strong tape. Suritape I thank its called. Did you have to be opened?
