Six weeks out

And still not losing! I was sleeved Oct 27 th, I've lost 17 pounds since surgery and 32 since I started my journey way back in April with my first PCP appointment. I'm still on puree foods per my doctor but have been having some soft foods this past week. I have been on this stall since my 2 week mark. I still have 1 protein shake a day then I would eat for fried beans or cream of wheat/oatmeal. Cottage cheese and yogurt another staple for me. I'm also walking 15 min a day on treadmill at a fast pace I get in a 1/2 mile walk. Usually all I can do because of COPD.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone else stalling out like me?

I am 7 weeks out and am stuck at 33 pounds.. I really dont eat that much since its not easy for me so I do the shakes as well. Im hopeing this is the stall everyone talks about and by next week I will go back to losing weight. Good Luck

that has to be beyond frustrating!

Try to up your calories with protein. I'm 3 months out, so I can eat a little more than you, but I found when I stall it's because I'm just flat out not eating enough. A couple days of upping my calories with protein rich foods, and BAM! Stall broken and I lose like 2 and a half pounds. Give it a try!

Oh and water, water, water!

I am noticing the same trend as Babbs.

If I am not careful I find that I don't eat or drink enough and the next thing that happens is that I stop losing. Up the calories with Protein (real food, not shakes) and see what happens. I am betting you will see a change.

Good luck to you and hang in there!
