Helicobacter pylori

So I got approved today by Anthem BC/BS then I get a call from my gastroenterologist that I have H-Pylori...yay me

Well, I had H-Pylori 7 years ago when I got my lapband and had to take 2 kinds of medicines beside an acid reducer for 2 weeks. I'm wondering if I got it again -or- if it never went away. So my surgery is 21 days away so I'm hoping he won't postpone if I start the meds tomorrow after I see him.

I've been researching this bacteria a lot today and it seems the concensus is that to get rid of it completely, it would be good idea to take Probiotics too. I'll discuss this tomorrow with my doctor.

Is anyone familiar with this?
