Is this normal?

Recommended Posts

As you guys know I have had to have a complete unfill. Went back he then put 1.5cc back in. I have had good restriction on some days not so good on others. But managed to lose back down to where I was before I was unfilled plus 2 more pounds. But now the last couple of days I have had major restriction I can barely eat and even when I sip Water it hurts but nothing that I can't handle just very uncomfortable. Yesterday I had 1 oz of steak and 3 bites of salad I got it down. I have tried Soups, oatmeal all of the soft and runny foods but they hurt also. I also have like heartburn. I know I am getting close to that time of the month and I am hoping once that comes maybe things will go back to normal. Has anyone else had this happen and what should I do? I go back to my doc on the 24th of this month.

I always get really tight right before my TOM. I was told it was due to some swelling during that time. I would recommend you wait and see what happens. I'm pretty sure that after your TOM, you'll feel much better.

I also noticed that I'm not as tight in the evening as opposed to morning. Maybe work your meals around when you feel a little looser.

Thanks Libra, I am hoping your right I really truly don't want another unfill at this point. My TOM's are so unpredicdable right now I guess from the weight loss that I never know when its going to happen. I am actually 3 weeks late (no way possible I am pregnant that was taken care of years ago) so I keep praying for the first time ever to get my monthy friend hahaha. What worries me most is the heartburn/indigestion thing going on. I have read alot about that being a symptom of slipage or some other kind of probloems.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
