I have to see the Nutritionists on the 20th. I would like to be prepared for any question she has. Should I make a list of my daily meal intake. Or what it is that I buy at the grocery store? What will they ask for?

@@flmommyof2 Everyone is different, mostly they will tell you what nutrition looks like after banding. They may have a questionnaire for you to fill out that might ask some questions about what you eat or what your eating habits are. If you wanted to bring a list of groceries or what your meal plans currently look like that wouldn't hurt they may or may not review them with you but it will help you to get an idea of what your doing now vs. what you will be doing after surgery.

They are not or should not be there to make judgements they are there to help you to learn and have good nutrition and eating mechanics post banding.

Good luck!!

Thank you "lisacaron" for taking the time to answer my question. I DO have a few questions I would like to ask her about how much daily intake of carbs, calories and Protein I should take in. I was afraid she expect me to have done my research and already know this. Thanks again so much hun. Have a blessed day:)

Just got back from surgeon and I have problems with my liver by taking too many med's. I have to lose 60 lbs before surgery. The medical history I'll have to have the sleeve. The surgeon has set me up with Dr's to help. I half to be on liquid diet like your going to be on so the weight will come off.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
