Medications before the surgery!

I am currently on a percription diet pill. Phentermine! I just got approved for surgery should I discontinue my medication? Or is it ok to continue to take medications like that?

      Yeah my surgery is on December 9th. Im just going to stop taking it. I'm definitely not going to do anything that's going to effect my date.... ive been waiting to long lol. Tyvm

    Do you know when your surgery is going to be? My surgery is Monday and the pre-op nurses called me yesterday, went over all my medications, etc. She she'd if I had taken any phentermine products in the last month. So maybe stop? Your best bet would be to ask your doc, but I thought it interesting and then I saw your question.
