Post op

Day 1 and day 2. Not pretty. Not gonna lie. Walking is ok but getting up from bed is unbearable.

Hurts to drink anything burns really bad going down. Gas must be in there because my back and shoulder blades could use a massage.

The IV morphine did the trick but day 2 I have to try to drink more and not be nauseas.

Wish me luck

Your on your way now. Things should get better each day. Best of luck.

That is exactly where I had my pain - shoulder and back. The only thing that did trick for me was getting up and walking. I walked every 2 hours for the first 3 days and it went away. I didn't have any pain from the surgery just the anesthesia.

Best of luck...it does get better...ALOT !!!

Good to know, thanks for sharing what you are going through, now I know what to expect. I have had laporscopic operations in the past and had that same pain in the shoulder blades/ back area, from the gas they put in your body while doing the surgery, it is such an awful feeling, hope it goes away soon!!
