Hi everyone, I'm getting sleeved on 12/9 and am wondering if anyone has had to get a filter that has these disorders.. I'm getting a filer and will be on lovenox.. I'm sad because I thought I was done with procedure -and most doc apt. And now I have to have a few more tests and go in to get the filter any input would be helpful! Thank you in advance!!

That filter will keep you safe. If they deem it necessary, have no worries, it's for the best.

Hi I also have a blood disorder and their putting in a filter but it will be done the same time as surgery

Yea I would ask they just come in before surgeon I don't even have to see vascular doctor before the surgeon handles it . Keep me posted how it goes
