Yes. It sometimes feels like the never ending story. An office forwards test results to your primary doc instead of your WLS doc who is five doors down I. The same building, someone writes down the wrong place you had an ultrasound delaying things five days, they make you wait ten days for an appointment which turns our to be, pay me $150 to schedule your date, checks won't do, and to explain you need to pay what your insurance won't before surgery-all could have been handled on the phone. Unnecessary delays. All of this has pushed my date to mid December, which I said all along, since March, that I cannot do because of church and work responsibilities-pushing me to January- oh- that's right- I start over with deductibles and co pay with the new year. Lord willing, though, next year this time I will be breathing better and feeling better. I am ok with the timeframe now-a little frustrated, but at least I have a scheduled date-Jan 6. I guess I will use the extra time to exercise more and to prepared myself better for my new life. Peace to all.

Sept 28 had to complete a 5 1/2 hour pre op nutrition then once that was completed s/b ready to be submitted to insurance co but no word from Dr office so I contacted them Oct 3rd. Told me file was being given to insurance coordinator and once faxed she would call me. 3 weeks later no phone call contact them again this past Monday no call back. Decided to call insurance company Wednesday to see if they got anything which they did the day before Tueday. Why didn't they let me know when they told me they would ? Called Friday she said she never got email but then she says she did get it and did apologize. It's a 2 week waiting period according to insurance co. But Dr office said 2-3 week. Hopefully I'll know something by Nov 5th. Moral of the story : Continually follow up with your surgeon office seems like you can't rely on Surgeon support staff to follow up for you

I had mine set before my insurance was even approved. It took me 8 days after it was submitted to know I was approved, surgery is November 18th!????
