Calling Anthem BC for update

I'd like to call my insurance for an update to see if I've been approved. What information do I need?? I don't have to have a claim number, do I? My PCC sent out my paper work last week, and I'm getting anxious, so I'd like to call my insurance directly.

    I couldn't wait to hear back from the ins co either lol. I called them and had my insurance ID # and I got the information I needed. Good luck!
