Bacon.

Well I had some bacon for the first time since my surgery june 24. Well I won't be doing that for a long time again.

I like it really crisped up and baked.

I had one piece and it sat like a lead balloon for hourssssssss

Well, that's a bummer. Bacon is meat's fruit (not my quote.. but funny, right?).

Sorry it got stuck :(

Yup funny. Am gonna miss bacon. But maybe not really.

Actually don't think I will to be honest

Sadly, everything I have tried basically agrees with my sleeve. It's all willpower now. But personally if I am going to go for a salty pork product it's gonna be proscuitto every time.

oooh. prosciutto....

Almost went for bacon the other day. My husband made a huge breakfast and the smell of the bacon was so tempting. I was like one little piece my husband says no you can't have that remember? I am like oh man I almost forgot, he saved me from that bite. Thank God it was an instinct to just take a piece. close call that was the old me not new sleeved me. thanks for the advice I will stay away to from it.

Almost 2 years out and still have a rocky relationship with some beef and pork. Tuna and some other foods. I try them and don't give up. You should try them now and then to see if your sleeve has changed and you can now tolerate it. K :)

You had me at Bacon. lol. I have Butterball turkey bacon, low sodium and love it. Regular bacon is a little harder to digest. I was dead against trying turkey bacon but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious is.
