Retaining Water

I have gained 2.4 pounds in 2 days (and only eating 3 cups of food per day). My rings aren't as loose as they were a few days ago. Does anyone know if this normal for other people and if there is anything that you can do about it??

I can only say for me this is pretty normal- I seem to have a range instead of a set weight, depending on the time of month and if I was eatting really salty foods ( like too many nuts)

Mine goes up and down 2-3 pounds every couple of days. I never know what number will show up! I've always been this way and so I'm used to it.

I havent weighed since my one week post op check up. I am going to wait until I go in again on the 21 of May before I weigh again. I dont want to see the daily fluctuations...I think that would be depressing and not helpful for me at all!!! I am sure it is water weight when you fluctuate up and down in a day or two though. Unless it is muscle replacing fat!!!

When I'm drinking my Water I don't fluctuate as much.....

I ALWAYS gage what the scale says with how my rings fit!

I know I will be up if they are snug or tight and if they twirl freely I'm good! :)
