United HealthCare approval process?

Hey everyone,

I need some encouragement. :(

My surgery is scheduled for October 6th, currently on my 3rd day of my pre op diet. (which sucks,btw)

​My dilemma is my Drs office sent for approval Sept. 22nd and I still haven't heard anything and I'm nervous I won't be approved.

I have a BMI of 41, high cholesterol, and a fatty liver.

Can someone give me some insight of how long the process will take?
