My doc never called me before surgery but she came to visit me the day after surgery.

Why did your doc call you ?

Dr. Rumbaut called me when I was first inquiring about the surgery to tell me about it and answer any questions about it. He said then and now that I'm banded that I can call with any questions. I know from my friends that he calls personally with responses to questions. But that's why I think I went to the most wonderful man in the business!! (nobody take offense....I'm just a little biased!)

My doctor, who is banding me next week, I found him on Cleveland Clinics website. I got his e-mail address, and has always responded the same day when I ask a question. Sometimes within minutes. I have enjoyed the whole process with Cleveland Clinic Weston, they've all been really nice.

Hey out of curiousity how many people have had drs call them at home before surgery?

I work in the Dental field and Drs are often trained in continuing ed that if they call personally for "bigger" procedures , the patient is less likely to fail their appt.

All my surgeons patients have his cell number to call him anytime after surgery
