Vitamin Deficiency

Has anyone experienced a vitamin deficiency with lapband surgery? I skipped my vitamins a couple of days and on Saturday I felt pins and needles in my feet and hands all day with blurred vision. I took my vitamins on Saturday night and Sunday felt better. Could this have been a vitamin deficiency? I see my doctor today.

Shirley, my first guess would be that it isn't a Vitamin deficiency, but maybe high blood sugar. I don't mean to scare you, but that's probably the first thing your doctor is going to check.

I hope it's nothing! Good luck at the doctor tomorrow.

It could also be a TIA (blood clot) so it is important that your doctor give you a good workup. The vitamin thing is just a coincidence. Good luck and let us know what happens!
