I am going thru the process to have the gastric sleeve and was just diagnosed with kidney stones. Do you think this will be a problem in getting the surgery approved? I have one more appointment to see the Dietician and then they are going to submit everything to the insurance company.

the only thing I know for sure about kidney stones is that it is painful. the 2 ppl close to me that got them were dehydrated. I think they can test the stones to see what they are made of so you will know why you got them. if its because of hydration after you have wls you will need to really work on this. call your wls to see if this will be a delay. I really don't think so but I didn't go to medical school. lol
