September 11 - Surgery Date Set

This has taken longer than expected. From initial consultation in February to endoscopy in July and insurance approval 1 August, the date for my surgery was only set Monday for 11 September. Nonetheless, this is a significant relief.

Others with similar dates, let's share the experience. My pre-operative diet will only be one week.

    Congrats!!! Now breath!! It will b here soon..I am 7 wks post..my pre was 2 shakes 1 balanced meal. Then 48 hrs before was only 3 shakes a day. All surgeon protocols are different. They want ur liver to shrink..best wishes..it can be a long process getting there. .:)
