Finally! but then.

I got a fill in my band about 9 days ago. I finally felt restriction. I wasn't hungry, I felt good and what I ate was fulfilling. I even started to lose weight. That seemed to of stopped about 4 days ago. I no longer feel restriction. I keep thinking maybe my band slipped. But I don't have any of the symptoms. I did manage to have a stuck moment on three occasions. They didn't last long. It felt really tight. Could that of made my band slip? I have a 12cc band and I am at 12cc.

  • I doubt it. My doc said it usually takes a lot for a band to slip--like heavy vomiting for a long time.

@@Alaskanband The issue I would worry about is prolapse where you stomach stretches over the band. If you are able to eat volumes of food even though your at such a high restriction and you are having some stuck episodes as well, I would advise giving your Dr. office a call and going in for a barium swallow/x-ray just to be sure that everything is working as it should.

My thinking is better safe than sorry.
