I am somewhat familiar with bariatric surgery, I work at a local hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am here to gain knowledge, friends and advice for my journey. Hi Cindy and welcome and congrats on your choice on being healthy, I was going to get the sleeve original but went with the RNY due to my acid reflex and diabetics 2 , I live in Mi as well , I know this is an exciting time for you and trust me everything is so well the wait , I had my procedure on May 19 and I am feeling great and I was take off all of my medications 2 days off of surgery. Have you decided on a doctor yet?

Hi I am new as well. I just had my visit with Primary Doctor and he is on my side regarding having this surgery. I have my initial consultation with my surgeon sept 2. In the mean while, I have to get a endoscopy, ultrasound on my gallbladder , knee xray , and sleep apnea testing. My bmi is 39.7 .. I would love to continue to correspond with you guys as well.
