I've got to wait until 8/22 but I wish people would respond. My first plan is to make scrambled eggs. Dreaming about eggs. Don't know what else I should have though. I'm getting pretty tired of soup... Potatoes not good option. Pureeing meat sounds gross. Mashed fruit. Maybe I'll start with banana. Maybe tuna w/ avocado?

My NUT gave me recipe for 1/2 cup ricotta cheese, 2 tbsps of Ragu spaghetti sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese. It's called Noodle-less lasagna and is super yummy. Makes 4 oz. about 10g of protein. I have puréed 2 small meatballs and added them and they were just fine. Also flavorless protein powder, sprinkled in everything adds good protein, even on egg salad. And my standby is Yoplait 100 Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop of protein powder = 25g of protein.

If you eat chicken, go for thigh since it is juicer than breast. Breast has tendency to be dry sometimes. I did a lot of lunch meats. Graduated to a chunkier chicken salad. I don't eat tuna salad but that is also an option if you like it. eggs, cheeses, Eggs with cheese (okay in my life anything with cheese really). Protein cheerios/multi-grain cheerios (my nut said you could eat your Cereal with milk, but check with your program to be sure).

I like tuna mixed with tomato, I still pulse it a couple times to make it smoother. I also like hummus with red peppers, scrambled eggs with anything I can mush up! Try to keep foods as moist as possible, it helps it to go down with no issue. I still can't get 2oz of purée tuna in yet, but nice to have the textures.
