My surgery was august 5 th and Gas x strips that dissolve on your tongue are helping me alot. They taste kinda gross but definitely worth it. I'm using about 5 a day...

And yes walking around helps too

Joyce - Chevygirll said what I was thinking. Someone told me about the GasX strips at about post-op day 5 and they were a life saver. I got the mint and did not mind the taste at all. Before that I was bloated and sore even with walking. Definitely worth trying

Hi, I'm 9 days post op and had terrible gas from Day 1 until Day 4. I used Fennel tea, which can be bought at health food stores. It doesn't taste great but I only made a very small cup and it began working within about 15 minutes. I used it until I felt no more gas about once to twice a day. Good luck, it does pass!

I walked.... alot. I was going crazy after being home 3 days straight. Walked 3 miles and gas was gone.
